The Cii Group (originally Known as Campbell & Duff Insurance Services Ltd) was formed on a handshake in 1992 between John Campbell and Gervan Duff.The arrangement was originally made to allow the synergy that existed between the two partners to enhance the benefits to their client bases and allow for the growth that would result from working within a larger single client base at a time when the then Colonial structure was undergoing radical changes in the way business was being conducted with them as they moved to a Franchise structure.
As the industry underwent substantial changes, it became apparent that additional expertise would be needed in certain areas and to that end Ray Hay who was the local general insurance manager for Colonial Mutual General, was approached to become a shareholder, to facilitate the growth of the General Insurance portfolio.
The CiiGroup is a small local Otago company that offers a full range of insurance services with offices in Dunedin & Alexandra.
